New to group classes? Here’s what happens in each LES MILLS® class, who it suits, and where to find it. Every class is for all fitness levels: you set the weights, the speed and the intensity.
BODYPUMP
The original barbell class
BODYPUMP® is a full-body workout with a light-to-moderate barbell and lots of reps, all to music. Your instructor works through each muscle group track by track, and you pick your own weights, so it suits first-timers and regulars alike.
Good for: Getting stronger and more toned without guessing what to do in the weights area.
BODYPUMP HEAVY
Heavier weights, fewer reps
BODYPUMP HEAVY™ is the strength-focused version of BODYPUMP. You lift heavier at a slow, controlled tempo with proper rest between sets, so your instructor can coach your form as you go.
Good for: BODYPUMP regulars who want to build real strength.
BODYCOMBAT
Martial arts, minus the contact
BODYCOMBAT® is a high-energy cardio class built on moves from karate, boxing, taekwondo, Muay Thai and more. You punch and kick the air, not each other, so there’s no partner and no gloves needed.
Good for: Burning off stress and getting fitter fast.
BODYBALANCE
Yoga, tai chi and Pilates in one
BODYBALANCE® blends yoga, tai chi and Pilates into one flowing class set to music. You’ll stretch, work your core and finish with a few minutes of relaxation.
Good for: Flexibility, recovery days and winding down after work.
BODYJAM
A dance class for everyone
BODYJAM® is a cardio dance workout set to the latest dance music. Your instructor breaks every move down, so you don’t need to know how to dance. Just come ready to sweat and have fun.
Good for: Anyone who’d rather dance than run.
BODYATTACK
Sports-style cardio
BODYATTACK® is a high-energy cardio class inspired by sports training: running, jumping, lunging and strength moves, built into one non-stop session. There’s always an easier option if you need it.
Good for: Building fitness and stamina, especially if you play sport.
LES MILLS DANCE
Dance to the hits
LES MILLS DANCE™ is a dance workout set to big, popular tracks. Simple moves build up into full routines, so you get a proper cardio workout while you dance. No dance experience needed.
Good for: Anyone who wants cardio that doesn’t feel like a workout.
RPM
Indoor cycling to music
RPM® takes you on a ride of hill climbs, sprints and flat roads on an indoor bike. You control the resistance, so you set your own intensity, and it’s easy on the joints.
Good for: Building cardio fitness with low-impact training.
LES MILLS SPRINT
30 minutes of HIIT on a bike
LES MILLS SPRINT® is short, sharp high-intensity interval training on an indoor bike: flat-out efforts with recovery in between. It’s all over in 30 minutes and kind to your knees.
Good for: Fast results when you’re short on time.
GRIT
30-minute HIIT, three ways
GRIT® is a 30-minute high-intensity interval class. GRIT Strength uses a barbell and plates, GRIT Cardio is explosive bodyweight work, and GRIT Athletic mixes both with sports-style drills for speed and agility.
Good for: People who like being pushed hard.
CEREMONY HYROX
Functional training from LES MILLS, built with HYROX
CEREMONY HYROX is a 45-minute functional training circuit: strength and cardio stations with set work and rest times, driven by a big playlist. It brings HYROX-style conditioning into a coached group class.
Good for: Training for hybrid fitness races, or trying HYROX-style training with a group.
LES MILLS SHAPES
Sculpt and strengthen on the mat
LES MILLS SHAPES® is a low-impact, mat-based class. Slow, controlled moves and holds make your muscles work hard, especially your core, glutes and legs.
Good for: Toning up without jumping around.
LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT
Learn to lift properly
LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT™ is a coached strength class with slow, controlled lifts, functional exercises and core work, building strength, power and good technique.
Good for: Getting stronger with expert coaching on every lift.
LES MILLS CORE
30 minutes for your core
LES MILLS CORE™ is a 30-minute workout for your abs, back and glutes, using weight plates and bodyweight. A strong core helps with everything from lifting to running.
Good for: Stability, posture and backing up your other training.
